MV Off-Load Disconnector Outdoor Type
Disconnectors are devices that can be opened and closed when the circuit is off-load in medium and high voltage systems. There are two types, indoor and outdoor. They are divided into four categories as normal, grounded, fused and fused grounded. Disconnectors are three-pole and all poles are controlled by a common operating mechanism and they can be mounted on a wall or on a vertical plane.
Disconnectors can be opened and closed under voltage, they cannot be opened and closed under load.
They are divided into two groups as porcelain and silicone insulators.
