Disconnectors are devices that can be opened and closed when the circuit is off-load in medium and high voltage systems. There are two types, Indoor and Outdoor. They are divided into four categories as normal, grounded, fused and fused grounded.

Disconnectors are three-pole and all-pole with a common operating mechanism.

It is controlled and can be mounted on a wall or a vertical plane. Disconnectors can be opened and closed under voltage, they cannot be opened and closed under load.

They are divided into two groups as porcelain and epoxy insulator.
