Fully insulated (insulated) connectors can be installed easily and quickly, they are preferred because they are more reliable.
- It is designed to be waterproof.
- They can be used for the interconnection of a wide range (including insulated aluminium and copper conductors) and of all common conductors.
- They are used to connect insulated network lines to each other and to the service line.
- Contact corrosion is prevented by the use of contact grease.
- Wet contact points are prevented by the rubber material (on the contact) used in its manufacture.
- When the torque shear bolt on the fully insulated connector is tightened, the contact
- pierces the LV ABC insulation, creating a deep groove in the conductor and creating a large contact surface.
- The contacts are made of electrolytic copper plates. In this way it has excellent
- Conductivity and very high resistance to breakage.
- Assembly and disassembly of fully insulated connector blocks is possible under voltage with the necessary protective equipment.
