CONNECTING COUPLERS

Additional couplers are products made of high electrical conductivity aluminium, used for the repair and joining of conductors in overhead lines.

Our additional coupler products are divided into 3 as bending type (FAB), compression type and repair coupler.

The list of products we manufacture is given below.

Bending Type (FAB)

FAB-25: It is used in conductors with a cross-section of 25 mm². The number of bends for the attachment is 3.5.
In standard aluminium conductors, 2 pieces are used side by side.
FAB-40: It is used in conductors with a cross-section of 50 mm². The number of bends for the attachment is 3.5.
In standard aluminium conductors, 2 pieces are used side by side.
FAB-63: It is used in conductors with a cross-section of 70 mm². The number of bends for the attachment is 4.
In standard aluminium conductors, 2 pieces are used side by side.
FAB-99: It is used in conductors with a cross-section of 95 mm². The number for the attachment is 4.
In standard aluminium conductors, 2 pieces are used side by side.

1/0 compression coupler: It is used to join steel cored conductors up to 1/0 cross-section.
3/0 compression coupler: It is used to join steel cored conductors up to 3/0 cross-section.
266 compression coupler: It is used to join steel cored conductors up to 266 cross-section.
477 compression coupler: It is used to join steel cored conductors up to 477 cross-section.

1/0 Section Repair Coupler: It is used to repair worn steel cored conductors up to 1/0 section.
3/0 Section Repair Coupler: It is used to repair worn steel cored conductors up to 3/0 section.
266 Section Repair Coupler: It is used to repair worn steel cored conductors up to 266 section.
477 Section Repair Coupler: It is used to repair worn steel cored conductors up to 477 section.
