General Description
The SS10017-v device converts up to 8 analog input signals into engineering units in digital format. Data is transmitted using the MODBUS RTU/ASCII protocol over an RS-485 network.
Up to 8 voltage signals of up to ± 10 V can be connected to the input.
By programming, the input measurement can be scaled up to ± 32768 points, obtaining the channel measurement in the desired format in dedicated registers.
The device guarantees high accuracy and stable measurement over time and temperature.
To ensure plant safety, an alarm with a Watch-Dog timer is provided.
Isolation between the circuit sections eliminates any grounding effects, allowing the device to be used even in harsh environmental conditions.
The device is housed in a rugged self-extinguishing 6-module DIN plastic enclosure for mounting on an EN-50022 standard DIN rail.
