SS 10014 Distributed I/O Device in a 6 DIN Module Box, 4 Inputs for RTD via RS-485

General Description

The SS10014 device converts up to 4 analog input signals into engineering units in digital format.

Data is transmitted by the MODBUS RTU/ASCII protocol over an RS-485 network. RTD, potentiometer or resistance sensors can be connected to the input.

The device guarantees high accuracy and stable measurement with respect to time and temperature.

To ensure plant safety, a Watch-Dog timer alarm is provided. The isolation between the circuit sections removes any grounding effects, allowing the device to be used even in harsh ambient conditions.

The device is housed in a rugged self-extinguishing plastic box of 6 DIN modules for mounting on an EN-50022 standard DIN rail.
